RE: Layton 2 year Warranty

Have youo tried contacting the dealer that sold it to you? Or looked for a Layton owners group to see if anyone has that page out of their owners manual?

RE: South Dakota and CCW

Best bet is to call the SD State Police (or who ever runs their program) and ask.

RE: Question about Hemi performance upgrades

If I was going to add anything to it it would be the MOPAR stuff and pay the dealer to do it. And make sure you get it in writing.

RE: ''Dealer Hanky Panky''

Ask them if they are either going to pay the note on the new one, or if you bought it outright, if they will be paying you rent on the new trailer. Oh and reinbursments for your hotel stays while you are unable to use said new unit. Personally I would take my trailer (old one) and either keep it or find another dealer, sounds pretty shaddy to me. Best of luck.

RE: Heartland unhappy camper

I would go over to www.heartlandowners.org and make a post about it in the ask the factory forum. Here is the link to the rules of the ATF, for the Sundance 5th wheels. http://www.heartlandowners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3045 I do not fully agree with the rules listed in the link above but they are the rules of the site. Best of luck to you.

RE: Outer Banks in August without AC--smart or dumb?!

you might want to look into www.watersportsandcampground.com also, they are just north of the KOA on Hatteras, sound side. I think they only have water and elc hook-ups, but they do have a shower house that is there also. We use to tent camp there a few years ago with a group of friends.

RE: Shopping for a "small" travel trailer

Sunline Que, they are out of business but there are a new ones here and there. We love ours, but we are pretty sure it is out the door since we now have a 3 month old.

RE: Campground in VA beach

I have never stayed at the KOA, but it is across Gen Booth from the Holiday Travel Park. We haven't stayed there either but have had some friends that have stayed there and they enjoyed it. The place is HUGE. As for www.northlandingbeach.com it is a nice place but is further south than the other two. Not too far though. We have been down a couple of times, for shake down trips since it is not all that far from the house, but if we discovered an issue we were close enough that the house is a great place to get the tool needed. We may head down in the near future since we are looking at a new TT next weekend. Heck you will all but pass the house going to anyone of those three.

RE: Think this is a scam?

Did Match Box make a Itasca 35 foot Class-A ? Sure would be fun for the kids to play with but for $5K it better be sold gold.

RE: Impressed!!!

Call Mechanicsville Dodge (804)559-4400 and ask to speak to Christy. They stock the flip up mirrors and will ship them also. I picked mine up from there, and installed them myself, in about 20-25 mins total time. They are night and day for towing.

RE: 55 mph National speed limit

But if you have a VW TDI you will learn that the MPG is higher over 55 than below. Prime MPG seems to be closer to 90-100mph than 55mph, tested on a closed course of course.

RE: Recommendations for our St. Louis to SC, VA Summer Trip

Like rv2go stated, you need more time in Charleston. Maybe I am bais since I grew up in SC, and Charleston has always been my second home. Heck, I even think the golf is better down there vs. MB. James Island State Park is a good place to camp, Kiawah is just around the corner for the golfing, and town is only about 20 miles from there. Don't forget Middleton Place, Shopping on Market St. And also King, I am not sure you want me to make you a full list. Williamsburg area also includes Jamestown, both of which you will bevery hard pressed to see in two days. DC is also a trip that is more than a couple of days also, since there is SO much to see. Best of luck and be safe out there.

RE: Richmond VA Roads

I-295 is not too bad up the east side but the section from I-95 north to I-64 west is horrible. If you can the left lane is better than either of the other two or three right hand lanes but still not good. I would also avoid going through Richmond if I could, narrow lanes, lots of traffic, lots of potholes, particularly the section from Gaskins Road east to Staples Mill. I fully agree with Shenandoah, try and stay to the left on the western end of 295 headed towards 64W. There is a fair amount of constuction there at the interchange also (both N and S bound). As it has been stated I also try to stay off of 95 in Richmond as well. Either towing the Camper or even my Bantam with our Wranglers, heck I try not to drive through there anyways, I would almost rather drive in Springfield, VA
